Founded by Bettia, who is passionately dedicated to helping women recognize and celebrate their uniqueness, and to standing confidently in their truth. While our uniqueness may not determine our worth, our strengths surely do. She aspires to share her story widely, emphasizing that our bodies are invaluable assets, deserving of love and respect—regardless of external validation. 

PearlMoon Effect is a testament to the power of embracing our individuality. Bettia believes that our true value lies not in our differences but in the unique strengths we each possess. Through her journey, she aims to encourage self-love, confidence, and authenticity, sharing her personal story to remind women that our bodies are the most precious outfits we will ever wear. Bettia's upbringing in the West Indies shaped her into the curious, imaginative spirit she is today. With her grandmother's support, she was inspired to pursue her dreams. Despite her talents, finding her true path was not without its challenges. The inspiration from her birthstones, Pearl and Moonstone, ultimately became the turning point that ignited the PearlMoon Effect. 

This journey is about more than just commerce; it’s about fostering change and nurturing a mindset of acceptance and empowerment. By expressing her unique style and cultivating a sense of grace, Bettia believes everyone can find the courage to emerge from their shells. A significant part of Bettia’s vision is to uplift underprivileged girls in Haiti by establishing schools that nurture their belief in their potential.
